Pak Army continues rescue & relief operation in Chitral’s flood-affected areas
CHITRAL (92 News) – Pakistan Army is assisting the civil administration in the rescue and relief operation for local population affected by the flash floods in Golon areas, Chitral.
In a tweet on Tuesday, DG ISPR Maj Gen Asif Ghafoor said that the affected population was being airlifted to safer places.
“Tents and ration have been provided to the affected people, while medical teams are also present in the areas to provide healthcare,” he said.
Meanwhile, the Pak Army has so far rescued 70 people from Golon areas. Two helicopters are participating in the relief operation.
