Pakistan rejects conspiracy on Kabul attack claim
ISLAMABAD (92 News) – Pakistan rejected media reports and conspiracy about involvement of any Pakistani national in a terrorist attack at a wedding reception in Kabul.
It is pertinent to mention here that the media reports or rumours surfaced after Kabul blast regarding ISIS claim of responsibility for a terrorist attack in Kabul that implicated a Pakistani national.
“Pakistan rejects these baseless allegations,” Foreign Office (FO) spokesperson Dr Mohammad Faisal said in a statement. He said Pakistan condemned terrorism in all its forms and manifestations.
“We have proactively and successfully taken action to uproot the scourge of terrorism. Pakistan will continue its efforts in the same spirit, in coordination with the regional and international partners,” the statement added.
On Sunday after hours of blast, Pakistan has strongly condemned the suicide blast targeting civilians during a wedding function in Kabul.
In a statement Foreign Office (FO) spokesperson Dr Mohammad Faisal said, We express our heartfelt condolences to the families of innocent victims and pray for the forgiveness of the deceased and for early recovery of many others who were seriously injured in the attack.
The FO spokesman said Pakistan condemns terrorism in all its forms and manifestations which is a common threat for the entire region and must be defeated together.
