RAWALPINDI (92 News) – Chief of Army Staff General Qamar Javed Bajwa has said that Pakistan will surely respond to any aggression in self defence. According to the ISPR, the COAS also had telephonic communication with Commander USCENTCOM, CDS UK, CDF Australia and ambassadors of the US, UK and China in Pakistan. Nothing more sacred than defending motherland: COAS
Chief of Army Staff (COAS) Gen Qamar Javed Bajwa on Sunday visited the troops along working boundary near Sialkot. Inter-Service Public Relation (ISPR) Director General Maj Gen Asif Ghafoor said in his tweet, the COAS visited troops along working boundary near Sialkot and he appreciated state of high morale and readiness. The ISPR DG tweeted, COAS said, “Appreciated state of high morale and readiness. “There isn’t anything more sacred than defending the motherland. I take pride in leading an Army which is ever ready to perform this duty.”
Any Indian aggression paid back in same coin: COAS
Earlier, Gen Qamar Javed Bajwa on Friday visited the Line of Control (LoC). The army chief reviewed state of preparedness and lauded high morale of troops during the visit. “Pakistan is a peace loving country but we will not be intimidated or coerced. Any aggression or misadventure shall be paid back in same coin,” the army chief said.
Indian army chief says he follows Pakistani COAS: ISPR
A day earlier, Indian Army Chief General Bipin Rawat has said that he follows his Pakistani Chief of Army Staff General Qamar Javed Bajwa. In his statement, responding to the video shared in his tweet, Inter-Service Public Relation (ISPR) Director General Maj Gen Asif Ghafoor said, “Indian army chief says that he follows Pakistan Army Chief.” “Even better would be if he follows General Bajwa’s vision for regional peace, stability and progress. For that India has to unfollow enmity with Pakistan,” the ISPR DG tweeted. The video shared by Major General Asif Ghafoor, every can hear Indian COAS saying “I follow him (General Bajwa) very well, I follow him whatever he says, I keep taking feedback on him.”
