KARACHI (92 News) - People are moving from pillar to post to get the most important necessity of flour as the prices have skyrocketed across the country.

In Karachi, the flour price has reached at Rs110 per kg. In Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, a 20kg bag of mixed flour is available at Rs2,150 while a 20kg bag of fine flour is available at Rs2,250.

Citizens said that the shopkeepers had stopped selling the subsidized flour. They said that the price of one kilogram flour had reached at Rs105-120 in the market.

They demanded that KPK Chief Minister Mahmood Khan should take notice of the shortage of flour in the province.

Dealers said that the flour prices had increased due to stoppage of the supply from Punjab and its black marketing in the province.

On the other hand, the flour crisis is continuing for the last three weeks in Balochistan. In Quetta, the price of a 20kg bag has increased by Rs423 to Rs2,300.
