PM Shehbaz Sharif assures CM Ali Amin Gandapur of fulfilling all justified demands of KP

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur called on Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif at PM House on Wednesday.

During the meeting, the prime minister assured that all justified demands of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province would be met while keeping in view the current financial situation of the country.

"All the four provinces are the components of the federation and the country achieved progress and development when we will move together," he added.

The prime minister stressed to sit together to resolve all issues, adding the public welfare would be the top priority of their collective efforts. "The federal government believes in working in harmony with all the provincial governments including Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and will foster the strong bonds."

Talking to the media after the meeting, Ali Amin Gandapur said that it was his first meeting with the prime minister that remained positive and good. "The PM has assured us full cooperation. He has also ordered to pay the outstanding dues of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa," he added.

He said that they know about the country's economic condition and will not make any unjustified demand.

Planning Minister Ahsan Iqbal said that the epitome of the today's meeting was everyone has its own politics, but the state was owned by all of them. "The issue of prisoners in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa was also discussed during the meeting," he added.

Finance Minister Muhammad Aurangzeb, Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi and Information Minister Attaullah Tarar were also present.
