LAHORE (92 News) – Minister for Railways Sheikh Rasheed has said that the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) is demanding the resignation of the NAB chairman to stop the accountability process. Addressing a press conference on Saturday, he said that the PML-N wants that no reference should be filed against its leaders. To a question about the leaked audio and video of the NAB chairman, the minister said that leave it out and listened to the cries of the corrupt people. “The corrupt people target the institutions whenever they are trapped,” he maintained. He said that Nawaz Sharif and Asif Zardari are united internally. “I myself saw Shehbaz Sharif demanding the NRO. Nawaz Sharif says Shehbaz Sharif has run away and why he not,” he said. The minister said that Shahid Khaqan Abbasi is crying for the NRO louder than all. “There are good eggs and rotten eggs in the PPP and filthy people have spread AIDS in the party,” he added. Sheikh Rasheed also hinted at changes in the federal cabinet after the Eidul Fitr. He said that India had gone in the lap of the United States and Pakistan would have to be very cautious. “I hope that there will be no Iran-US war.” He said that those dividing the country are playing in the hands of foreign agents.
Sh Rasheed asks Sindh health minister to resign over AIDS issue
On May 20, Minister for Railways Sheikh Rasheed has said that the government is ready to help if PPP chairman Bilawal Bhutto gives an advertisement on AIDS. Talking to the media, he said that what people got in Larkana, which has become now ‘Aidstan’. “The number of AIDS patients in Larkana is much more than any place in the world,” he said. He demanded that Sindh health minister should resign over the issue. Sheikh Rasheed and other officials took a round of Circular Railway routes in Karachi. “The department will restore 45km CR within a fortnight, while 20km has already been restored,” he said. The minister said that they would get the track vacated from both sides, asking the encroachers to leave the place themselves. He said that the government is cooperating with the Sindh government.
Zardari turns Larkana into ‘Aidstan’, says Sheikh Rasheed
Minister for Railways Sheikh Rasheed termed that former president and Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) co-chairman Asif Ali Zardari turned Larkana into ‘Aidstan’. Speaking to the journalists, the railways minister said that criticized Zardari over recent HIV outbreak in Sindh. He asked the former president to look towards Larkana saying he has turned the province, where his party is in power, into ‘Aidstan’. “Had these cases emerged in Ethiopia, Somalia and Congo, (rulers in these countries0 would have kicked the bucket,” he said. Shikeh Rasheed said the politicians who remained involved in the plunder of public funds proudly said they faced 36 cases. He asked why they were being released from jail on bail.
