PML-N leader Atta Tarar welcomes verdict of LHC

LAHORE (92 News) - PML-N leader Atta Tarar has welcomed the verdict of the Lahore High Court (LHC), saying that they accept it.

Talking to the media on Thursday, he said that the court had neither nullified the election of Hamza Shehbaz nor removed him from the post. "Perhaps the PTI could not understand the court verdict written in English. As the chief minister, the verdicts about Hamza Shehbaz have been given protection," he maintained.

The PML-N leader said that his party has a majority of nine votes even though 25 members are removed. "It will be contempt of court if the election process was sabotaged again," he added.

He claimed that their estranged members have returned to the party. "In addition, five independent members have also announced support for Hamza Shehbaz," he maintained.

Tarar said that the court had ordered to ensure the election process peaceful.
