PML-Q CEC recommends removal of Ch Shujaat as party president

LAHORE (92 News) - Senator Kamil Ali Agha presided over a meeting of the Central Executive Committee of the Pakistan Muslim League-Quaid (PML-Q) on Thursday.

The meeting recommended to remove Chaudhary Shujaat Hussain as the party president. It also approved to abolish the party designation of Tariq Bashir Cheema.

It also decided to hold intra-party elections within 10 days. A five-member Election Commission has been formed for the intra-party election.

During the meeting, a resolution was passed in favour of Chaudhary Pervaiz Elahi.
