Polish army chief lauds Pakistan Army’s efforts for regional peace

RAWALPINDI (92 News) – Polish Armed Forces Commander Lieutenant General Jaroslaw Mika acknowledged and appreciated Pakistan Army’s professionalism, efforts in fight against terrorism and contributions towards regional peace and stability. According to Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), Jaroslaw Mika visited the General Headquarters (GHQ) in Rawalpindi, where he called upon Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa on Tuesday. Polish  Polish army chief  Pakistan Army  professionalism  regonal peace “Issues of mutual interest including defence, training and security cooperation between the two armies were discussed,” the ISPR said. Earlier, on arrival at GHQ, the commander of the Polish armed forces laid floral wreath at Yadgar-e-Shuhada. A contingent of Pakistan Army presented the guard of honour to the visiting dignitary.
COAS, Chinese envoy discuss matters of mutual interest
A daye arlier, Ambassador of China to Pakistan Yao Jing has called on Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwaat at GHQ in Rawalpindi.

During the meeting matters of mutual interest including regional security situation were discussed.

COAS visits troops on forward posts along Pak-Afghan border
Earlier on Saturday, COAS General Qamar Javed Bajwa visited troops on forward posts along Pak-Afghan border at Dawatoi in North Waziristan. According to a press release issued by the ISPR, COAS was briefed about progress on border fencing, sanitisation operation, socio-economic development projects and rehabilitation of TDPs.
