Polling for by-elections in 4 districts of Balochistan underway

QUETTA (92 News) - Polling is underway for the by-elections in 4 districts of Balochistan. 

Polling is going on in 11 union councils of Balochistan's four districts of Mastung, Loralai, Daki and Musa Khel for the by-elections. A total of 67 polling stations have been set up in these districts.

According to the Election Commission, local body elections could not be held in these districts of Balochistan due to various reasons. The polling started at 8 am which will continue till 5 pm without any break. 223 candidates are competing in 65 wards of 11 union councils, but candidates have been elected unopposed in eight wards.

Very strict security arrangements have been made regarding the election, all the polling stations have been declared sensitive by the Election Commission.
