President , PM express grief over martyrdom of Army officers, soldiers in helicopter accident

ISLAMABAD (92 News) - President Arif Alvi and Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif have expressed grief over the martyrdom of Army officers and soldiers in the helicopter accident.
President Arif Alvi made a telephonic contact with Chief of Army Staff General Qamar Javed Bajwa and expressed grief over the tragedy.

He prayed for the departed soul and shared his sympathies with the bereaved family. "Dedicated to the spirit of selfless service, these children are the benefactors of the nation," he declared.
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif also expressed grief and sorrow over the martyrdom of six officers, including Corps Commander Quetta Lt Gen Sarfraz Ali.
Nation is deeply grieved on the martyrdom of Lt. General Sarfraz Ali & 5 other officers of Pakistan Army. They were doing a sacred duty of providing relief to flood affectees. Will remain eternally indebted to these sons of soil. My heartfelt condolences to the bereaved families!

"These sons of the homeland are the pride of the nation, who sacrificed their lives to save their countrymen surrounded by floods. The nation salutes the martyrs," he added.
