PTI allowed to hold a public meeting in Islamabad

ISLAMABAD (92 News) - The Islamabad deputy commissioner has allowed the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) to hold a public meeting in Rawat on GT Road.

The Islamabad deputy commissioner informed the Islamabad High Court (IHC) after deciding on the application filed by the PTI.

On the other hand, the Lahore High Court heard a plea for not allowing the PTI to hold the public meeting. The court issued notices to the authorities, including the Punjab government.

Meanwhile, the Sindh High Court (SHC) issued a contempt of court notice to the government for not allowing the PTI to hold the public meeting at Bagh-e-Jinnah.
