ISLAMABAD (92 News) - The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) on Tuesday announced to start a countrywide protest against rigging in the elections.

Talking to the media, PTI secretary general Omar Ayub Khan said that other parties will also participate in the peaceful protest. "We will also lodge our protest in the assemblies. Not only rigging but massive rigging was done in the elections," he added.

He said that the PTI seats were struck through a single stroke of pen. "Our seat in Lodhran was snatched yesterday," he added.

PTI leader Asad Qaisar said that they were heading towards a grand alliance. "We will unite other parties at one-point agenda," he maintained.

Meanwhile, the PTI founder has nominated Amir Dogar and Junaid Khan for the slots of speaker and deputy speaker in the National Assembly.
