PTI faces criticism over appointment of Qadiani as adviser
ISLAMABAD (92 News) – The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) is facing severe criticism from various sections of the society for appointing Atif Mian, a Qadiani, as adviser on economic affairs.
In a tweet, Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting Fawad Chaudhry said that Atif Mian has been appointed a member of Economic Advisory, not Islamic Council.
He termed the critics as extremists. “Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah had appointed Sir Zafarullah as foreign minister. We will follow the principles of the Quaid-e-Azam, not of extremists,” he said.
Maulana Tahir Ashrafi said that how can a person denying the constitution can be appointed Economic Advisory member.
Mufti Naeem said that Atif Mian is administrator of the centre of Qadianis in London.
