RAWALPINDI (92 News) - The PTI founder has said that he would hold talks with those who have the real power to do so.

Talking to journalists informally at Adiala Jail on Saturday, he said that present government would collapse if he held talks with it. “How should I negotiate with such a government which will end after four opening constituencies?”

The PTI founder said that the he would hold talks within the ambit of the constitution. “First of all, our mandate should be returned. I have asked Mahmood Achakzai to negotiate with political parties,” he added.

He said that the withdrawal from the slogan of ‘Vote Ko Izzat Do’ (respect the vote) was the biggest U-turn. “The parliament cannot be run through the power of stick. The rulers are sitting in the parliament after ignoring all ethics. They are attacking the courts like the past,” he maintained.

The PTI founder said that he had twice fallen unwell due to food poisoning in jail. “The NAB has violated its law by filing a new reference in the Toshakhana case,” he added.
