PTI founding member Akbar S Babar moves ECP against intra-party elections

ISLAMABAD (92 News) - PTI founding member Akbar S Babar on Tuesday challenged the intra-party elections in Election Commission of Pakistan.

Akbar S Babar and PTI member Raja Tahir Nawaz, in the applications, demanded that the intra-party should be declared void and re-conducted. They also demanded that impartial monitor should be appointed for the elections.

Talking to the media, Akbar S Babar said that a few people were forcibly gathered in Peshawar and they were asked to chant slogans of 'accepted, accepted'. "The symbol of bat is in further danger through the fake election and such stunt. We are trying to save the PTI," he added.

He demanded that the process of fake elections in political parties should come to an end. "Politics cannot make progress until domination of families in the parties is not ended," he maintained.
