PTI president Ch Pervaiz Elahi moves SC to contest elections

LAHORE (92 News) - PTI president Chaudhary Pervaiz Elahi on Wednesday filed a petition in the Supreme Court to contest the general elections.

In the petition, he appealed to the SC to nullify the judgment of the Lahore High Court (LHC) issued on January 13.

Meanwhile, Chaudhary Pervaiz Elahi's wife Qaisara Elahi has revealed that PML-Q president Chaudhary Shujaat Hussain had asked Chaudhary Pervaiz Elahi to leave the PTI and get out of jail. "But Chaudhary Pervaiz Elahi has clarified that he will not leave the PTI," she disclosed.

On the other hand, PML-Q president Chaudhary Shujaat Hussain said that he had retired from politics and Chaudhary Pervaiz Elahi should also retire. "We should now let our children do politics," he added.
