Ramazan-ul-Mubarik moon sighted, holy month begins

PESHAWAR (92 News) – Central Ruet-e-Hilal Committee chairman Maulana Abdul Kahbeer Azad announced that the Ramazan-ul-Mubarik moon has been sighted and the first of the holy month started on Tuesday (today).
Addressing a press conference at Auqaf Hall, Charsadda Road, Peshawar on Monday, he congratulated the Muslims on the sighting of the Ramazan moon.
He said that they had received testimonies of the moon-sighting from Lahore, Islamabad, Peshawar, Sukkur and other cities.
The faithful will offer the first Taraweeh prayers today.
