Roads, streets give a pond-like look after incessant rain in Lahore

LAHORE (92 News) - Incessant rain turned roads and streets into ponds in several areas of the provincial capital on Friday.

Rainwater was accumulated in Davis Road, Lakshmi Chowk, Gulshan-e-Ravi and Tajpura. The maximum rain of 235mm was recorded in Tajpura.

Moreover, a heavy downpour inundated residential areas in Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Jhelum, Pind Dadankhan, Gujjar Khan and Kasur.

In different cities, the power supply was disrupted due to the heavy rain. After a light rain, the people took a sigh of relief from sweltering heat in Karachi.
