Samsam Bukhari meets Jahangir Tareen, joins Istehkam-e-Pakistan Party

LAHORE (92 News) - Former provincial minister Samsam Bukhari called on Istehkam-e-Pakistan Party (IPP) patron-in-chief Jahangir Tareen on Monday.

Addressing a press conference, he announced to join the Istehkam-e-Pakistan Party. He once again condemned the May 9 incidents, saying that it should have not happened. "I had no knowledge of the May 9 plan."

Speaking on the occasion, Jahangir Tareen said that the general elections should be held under the new census. He hoped that the elections would not exceed the month of March.

He said that he would announce a plan for public meetings across the country after consulting the party leaders. "I am very saddened by the statement of President Arif Alvi. The IPP has been established for the supremacy of the constitution," he added.
