SBCA declares 578 dilapidated buildings as dangerous

KARACHI (92 News) - The Sindh Building Control Authority (SBCA) on Tuesday declared 578 dilapidated buildings as dangerous.

The authority has handed over lists of the dangerous buildings to the Karachi commissioner and deputy commissioners.

According to the lists, 23 buildings have been declared dangerous in Karachi East District, 66 in Central District, 14 in Korangi, 23 in Kemari and four in Malir.

In Karachi South District, 456 buildings have been declared dangerous in Karachi West while only two in Karachi West. People are forced to live in these dangerous buildings.
