ISLAMABAD (92 News) - The Supreme Court on Wednesday granted bail to five accused booked by the New Town police in the May 9 incidents.

Hearing the bail pleas, Justice Jamal Mandokhel remarked that whether it was a crime to be a political worker or take out a rally.

"This destruction was caused in the country due to a ban on student unions. The terrorism occurred in the Peshawar Army Public School and Quetta Kutchery. The police do not arrest the real terrorists and is chasing the people who took out rallies," he observed. He remarked that it was not a solution to arrest all people.

Justice Hassan Azhar Rizvi remarked that no one would be martyred if the authorities arrest the real culprits.
