Shajjar Abbas qualifies for semis of 100m race at Asian Athletics Championship

BANGKOK (92 News) - Shajjar Abbas, Pakistan's ace sprinter, qualified for the semi-finals in the 100 metres race during the Asian Athletics Championship in Bangkok, Thailand on Thursday.

Shajjar Abbas covered the distance in 10.37 seconds. He also broke his own national record of 10.38 seconds he established at the Commonwealth Games last year.

The semi-finals will be played on Friday.
