Sheikh Rasheed arrested after bail cancellation in May 9 arson case

RAWALPINDI (92 News) - Awami Muslim League leader Sheikh Rasheed was arrested from courtroom after the cancellation of his bail in the New Town arson case.

The police will produce him in an anti-terrorism court on Wednesday.

However, bails of Rashid Shafique were confirmed in all 14 cases. The court also confirmed the bail of Punjab Assembly former deputy speaker Wasiq Qayyum Abbasi and Ijaz Khan Jazi.

The court had reserved the verdict on the applications after completion of the arguments. However, the bails of accused Ziad Khaleeq Kiyani and Fahad Masood have been cancelled.
