Sheikh Rasheed once again appeals to establishment to grant general pardon

RAWALPINDI (92 News) - Former federal minister Sheikh Rasheed has appealed to the establishment to grant a general pardon, saying the situation of the country and economy is very concerning.

Talking to the media outside Adiala jail on Monday, he said that the government should save its respect and the country, but it wants anarchy in the country. “Nawaz Sharif will soon introduce a new narrative. One brother will run towards the east and another will flee to the west,” he predicted.

He said that the common man had been buried alive in the inflation. “The country is heading towards Kenya-like situation. The people are cursing the government,” he added.

He was of the view that 7.7 million people have submitted their passports to leave the country. “We salute the judiciary for announcing a landmark judgment in the reserved seats case. It will also play a historic role in saving the country,” he added.
