MANDI BAHAUDDIN (92 News) - PML-N president Shehbaz Sharif, without naming PPP chairman Bilawal Bhutto, has said that there was no political prisoner during the tenure of party Quaid Nawaz Sharif.

Addressing a public gathering on Thursday, he said that a political leader says he will release political prisoners if he got the power. "An enmity was done with Pakistan on May 9. Enemies of Pakistan cannot tolerate the progress of the country," he added.

Shehbaz Sharif said that the people got elected Nawaz Sharif who was ousted in 2017. "Nawaz Sharif laid network of roads across the country. He provided the people with subsidized electricity and fertilizers and free medical treatment and medicines," he added.

He said that the youth are the real asset of the country. "Youths will be given agricultural loans if the PML-N got the government," he added.

Addressing an election rally in NA-119, PML-N chief organizer Maryam Nawaz said that a person was saying that Nawaz Sharif did not give the manifesto. "Those who cannot see the manifesto should see the development of Lahore," she maintained.

She said that no party except the PML-N had done for the people. "Other parties cannot count 15 projects accomplished during their 15-year rule. Their job is only to criticize. We will get the masses rid of inflation if the PML-N got the government," she added.
