MURREE (92 News) – A new spell of snowfall is continuing in hilly areas of the country as the tourists are thronging Murree to enjoy the snowfall.
As per details, the Murree blanketed with white sheets of snow. Amid new spell of snowfall, the markets and streets have come to life in Murree as people from different parts of the country started thronging to the area
Warmly welcome of Tourists
It was reported that the tourists are being warmly welcomed in Muree, necessary arrangements have been made by the concerned authorities to clear snow from the roads.
The visitors, who stuck in traffic, were being given dry fruit packets and water. The city traffic police arranged hot stoves in different places for the visitors.
However, the officials added, they highway department and the city traffic police was available 24 hours to facilitate the public. The traffic police have also acquired snow bikes.
Tourists enjoying
A tourist said that he was overwhelmed to experience the
spell of snow. “I had never got this opportunity,” he said. “It is a blessing to have not only diversity in language and communities in our country, but to also have natural beauty in different regions.”
Food on Mall Road
On Mall Road, the aroma of tikka karhai coming from the hotels fills the air, rising appetite of passers-by. But it is not just tikka karhai, the air also has a whiff of chapli kabab, fried fish and biryani.
Another visitor said people out on the streets of Murree to enjoy food in the cold, amid snow topped trees and shops, cap their meals with coffee and Kashmiri or green tea.
Shopping of Wollen wears
Those tourists, who miscalculate the weather and not carry proper winter gear, rush to the garments shop for woollen wear to cover their heads and hands under the chilling temperature.
Moreover, the rain and snowfall that started yesterday in parts of country, weather has turned cold while Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) on Friday has predicted more rain and snowfall.
