Traders, industrialists welcome federal budget for FY2022-23

KARACHI (92 News) - Traders and industrialists have welcomed the federal budget for FY2022-23.

Reacting to the budget, Karachi Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KCCI) president Muhammad Idrees said that they were thankful to the government for accepting their recommendation for ending duty on solar panel.

"The government having the tenure of a few months presented a good budget. "The establishment of the Access Dispute Resolution Committee (ADRC) was our old demand," he added.

Rawalpindi Chamber of Commerce and Industry (RCCI) president Naseem A Rauf said that it was balanced budget in difficult conditions.

He said that tax waiver on investment in the IT sector for 5-10 years is a good omen. "The government has taken a good step for announcing benefits for the pharma and textile sectors," he added.
