Unemployed man commits suicide after slaughtering two daughters in Faisalabad

FAISALABAD (92 News) - An unemployed man committed suicide after slaughtering his two daughters in Faisalabad on Wednesday.

Before committing suicide, Attiqur Rehman wrote a letter and told about his heinous act. He said that he was worried for having no job after the death of his wife.

He stated that the outstanding fare of his house had reached Rs150,000. "I am committing suicide after killing my daughters. Autopsy should not be performed on our bodies," he said, requesting the Edhi Foundation to get the luggage of his house and make arrangements for their funeral.

This letter is not only of a person forced by financial hardships, it is also a literal picture of the classes buried under a mountain of needs and forced to prefer death to life.
