UNGA adopts Pakistan’s resolution on right to self-determination

UNITED NATIONS (92 News) – The UN General Assembly unanimously adopted the resolution moved by Pakistan on the universal right of people to self-determination. The Third Committee had earlier recommended the resolution to the GA. Pakistan’s Permanent Representative to the UN Dr Maleeha Lodhi said that the resolution tabled by Pakistan reaffirms the inviolability of the right to self-determination for all people without exception, including, of course, the people of Occupied Jammu and Kashmir and Palestine.
