LAHORE (92 News) - Balochistan High Court Chief Justice Naeem Akhtar Afghan has said that they are following the traditional justice system in the modern era.

Addressing the two-day judicial conference on Saturday, he said that a large number of cases are pending across the country.

Justice Babar Sattar of the Islamabad High Court said that the country's judicial system is unable to decide a large number of cases. "There is need to improve the judicial system and case management.

Justice Jawad Hassan of the Lahore High Court said that the objective of establishing the commercial courts was to decide the business community cases at the earliest.

Justice Yousaf Ali Saeed of the Sindh High Court said that 22,000 cases are pending in the SHC while over 17,000 civil cases are pending in the Karachi district courts.
