Won't allow anyone to destabilize country in name of politics, protest: Maryam Nawaz

LAHORE (92 News) - Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz has said that she will not allow anyone to destabilize the country in the name of politics and protest.

Talking to the media at Civil Secretariat on Monday, she said that the law will take its course if someone cause a trouble to the masses. "Whatever the police did yesterday is not a political revenge. We will not allow anyone to take the law into his hands in the name of democratic right," she maintained.

The Punjab chief minister said that she had seen a video of a woman attacking a police van and getting the arrested people released.

She said that the government was taking steps to control inflation. "There are several issues of governance and it will take time to resolve them," she added.
