AJK cabinet decides not to present budget in protest of cut in their funds

AZAD JAMMU KASHMIR (92 News) - The Azad Jammu Kashmir (AJK) cabinet has decided not to present budget in protest of cut in their funds.

AJK Prime Minister Sardar Tanveer Ilyas headed the cabinet meeting on Sunday regarding budget, Acting President and Speaker Assembly Chaudhry Anwarul Haq also attended the meeting. The cabinet has decided not to present budget due to cut in their financial resources.

On this AJK PM Sardar Tanveer Ilyas said that this region is the base camp of freedom movement. "We will tell to Government of Pakistan about sensitivity of cut in the budget. Kashmiris have been sacrifising for Pakistan in future also. If still there is requirement of sacrifices then stop all the budget," he added.

Meanwhile, Chaudhry Anwarul Haq said that it is fear that cut in the budget of AJK will leave negative impact in the region.
