AJK Assembly asks Pakistan to raise Indian illegal act at diplomatic, political & int’l fronts

MUZZAFARARABAD (92 News) – The Legislative Assembly of Azad Jammu Kashmir (AJK) on Wednesday passed a unanimous bill against Indian aggression in the Indian Occupied Kashmir (IoK). The Legislative Assembly of AJK called a special session to address the recent escalation and war hysteria being spread by India against Occupied Kashmir after the illegal abrogation of its status as a disputed territory. The legislative assembly set forth a motion condemning the devious designs of tyrannical India which was passed unanimously. The members presided over the session supporting black armbands showing their dismay and disdain towards India’s hegemonic plans. The assembly also took part in a collective prayer for the martyrs of Kashmir, the freedom fighters and their struggles were lauded, appreciated and upheld as a tremendous sacrifice in the face of pure evil. It demanded that Pakistan should raise the Indian illegal act at diplomatic, political and international fronts. "India has committed blatant violation of the UNSC resolutions. The international community should take notice of the situation," it demanded. Moreover, four resolutions against revocation of special status and atrocities in Occupied Kashmir. Earlier, the Indian government rushed through a presidential decree to scrap a special status for Indian-held Jammu Kashmir, hours after imposing a major security clampdown in the region. Amit Shah has announced to abrogate Articles 370 and 35A from its constitution, which gives special status and rights to the people of occupied Jammu and Kashmir. The announcement was made by Indian Home Minister Amit Shah while addressing in Rajya Sabha, upper house of Indian parliament. Amit Shah also announced that Jammu and Kashmir would be re-organized geographically. Amit Shah also announced that Jammu and Kashmir now a union territory with legislature,and it is no more a State. He also announced that Ladakh will also be union territory without legislature. He said that President of India had issued a notification in this regard.
