Another relief for Sharif family as NAB closes probe into Sharif Trust case

ISLAMABAD (92 News) - The Sharif family got another relief in the legal battle after the National Accountability Bureau closed the investigations into the Sharif Trust case.

The decision was made during a high-level meeting of the executive board presided over by the NAB chairman on Tuesday.

The board also approved to close six cases, including the inquiry against Islamabad IG Akbar Nasir Khan in the Safe City corruption case.

Moreover, the NAB also closed the inquiry against the federal government and the CDA officers in the illegal appointments case and illegal housing society.

On the other hand, the NAB also closed the inquiry against Shahid Malik and Shahbaz Yasin.
