Ayesha Ghaus Pasha terms statement of IMF Mission chief as interference in internal affairs

ISLAMABAD (92 News) - State Minister for Finance Ayesha Ghaus Pasha has termed the statement of IMF Mission chief Nathan Porter as interference in internal affairs.

Talking to the media on Wednesday, she said that Pakistan is running as per law. "The statement of Nathan Porter is of unusual nature. The IMF mandate is not to interfere in the internal matters of any country," she added.

She said that the new budget will be election year budget and the people will get a relief.

"We hope that the staff level agreement will be signed before the new budget. The Finance Ministry has the Plan B if the deal is not struck with the IMF," she declared.
