Big relief for masses as govt reduces petrol price by Rs40 per litre

ISLAMABAD (92 News) - The government has reduced the price of petrol by Rs40 per litre and high-speed diesel by Rs15 per litre, passing on the benefits of the decreasing trend in international petroleum prices and the strengthening of the Pak rupee against US dollar directly to the public.

After the hefty decrease, the petrol rate now stands at Rs283.38 per litre and high-speed diesel at Rs303.18 per litre.
