Bilawal Bhutto says conspiracy being hatched to kill Asif Zardari
August 26, 2019
ISLAMABAD (92 News) – PPP chairman Bilawal Bhutto has said that a conspiracy is being hatched to kill his father Asif Ali Zardari. Talking to the media outside Adiala Jail after meeting Asif Zardari on Monday, he said that the government is not giving medical treatment to the former president. “Imran Khan is a bigger fascist than Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi,” he said. He said that the prime minister should keep in mind that the PPP had toppled the dictators. “Arrests are being made without any proof. Women are not being spared,” he said. The PPP chairman said that the government is not acting upon the court orders. “The economic murder of each community is being done,” he said. Bilawal Bhutto said that restrictions have been imposed on the media. “It is fascism and the PPP will counter it,” he said. He said that the government is trying to pressurize the PPP. “The jail doctor has stated Asif Zaradri is suffering from multiple diseases and he should immediately be sent to hospital, but the jail administration and the government are denying it. It will be an attempt to kill Asif Zardari if he was denied medical treatment. We will move court against this act,” he said. The PPP chairman said that Faryal Talpur was brought to jail illegally and her production orders were not being issued. “Political opponents are being victimized,” he said. “Why has corruption not ended despite jailing Nawaz Sharif and Asif Zardari?” He said that no Pakistan would allow bargain over the Kashmir issue. “We will not accept any decision made by the selected prime minister,” he added.
No selected PM can fight for Kashmir cause: Bilawal
On August 25, Pakistan Peoples’ Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto claimed that no selected prime minister (PM) can fight for the Kashmir cause. Addressing a press conference, the PPP chairman said there was no comparison between the military occupation in Indian Occupied Kashmir (IoK) and the undermining of democracy and human rights in Pakistan. He also said that the current government of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) was incompetent while the Foreign Office was also inefficient as both of them have been failed to resolve the Kashmir issue. “The premier has badly exposed his self in front of the nation,” he added. The PPP chief further said that Imran Khan took the U-turn on his promises with nation. He condemned India’s conspiracy and moves to transform the Muslim-majority disputed Himalayan region of Kashmir into minority. “No selected prime minister can fight for the Kashmir cause the way a democracy-friendly prime minister can,” he maintained.
