Bilawal Bhutto terms SC judgment as historic

ISLAMABAD (92 News) - PPP chairman Bilawal Bhutto has termed the judgment of the Supreme Court as historic, saying that the court admitted Zulfikar Ali Bhutto was not given a fair trial.

Talking to the media after the SC opinion on the presidential reference on the controversial of hanging of Zulfikar Ali Bhutto, he said that the PPP would move ahead in consultation with lawyers after the detailed judgment.

He said that the people thought it was very difficult to get justice due to this stigma on the judiciary. "However, the history is going to be rectified after 44 years. Pakistan and the democratic system will make progress due to today's verdict," he added.
