British HC, JUI chief Afghan discuss migrants' return & women education in Afghanistan

ISLAMABAD (92 News) - British High Commissioner Jane Marriott and Political Secretary Sims-Fletcher called on JUI chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman at his residence on Thursday.

During the meeting, they exchanged their views on Pakistan's relations with Afghanistan and India, the return of Afghan migrants and women's education in Afghanistan.

Maulana Fazlur Rehman also expressed optimism about gradual improvements in peace and security in Afghanistan, suggesting that other issues should be resolved along with the establishment of peace.

Maulana Fazlur Rehman urged attention to the plight of women and children in Gaza where human rights are being violated by the terrorist Israel. He also criticized the West for supporting Israel and called for a reconsideration of their stance.
