Bushra Bibi moves IHC for suspension of sentence in Iddat case

ISLAMABAD (92 News) - PTI founder’s wife Bushra Bibi filed an application in the Islamabad High Court on Saturday, seeking suspension of her sentence in the Iddat case.

The petition has been filed through Barrister Salman Safdar advocate. She contended that she should be released after suspending her sentence. “The court should suspend the verdict of February 3 and order to release me,” she appealed to court.

She contended that the prosecution had presented the contradictory evidence in court and the sentence could not be maintained.
