Citizens decry increase in prices of POL products by up to Rs10 per litre

ISLAMABAD (92 News) - Citizens have strongly protested against an increase of up to Rs10 per litre in the prices of POL products.

Terming the increase as unjustified, they said that the prices of POL products had decreased in the international market but they had been increased here.

They demanded that the prices of the POL products should be decreased immediately to give a relief to the people in the real sense.

According to a notification issued by the Finance Ministry, the per litre price of petrol had been increased by Rs7.45 to Rs265.61. The diesel price has been raised by Rs9.56 per litre to Rs277.45.

The prices of light-speed diesel and kerosene oil have been increased by Rs9.88 to Rs10.05 per litre.
