Governor Abdul Wali Khan Kakar dissolves Balochistan Assembly on CM advice

QUETTA (92 News) –On the advice of Chief Minister Abdul Quddus Bizenjo, Governor Abdul Wali Khan Kakar dissolved the Balochistan Assembly on Saturday.

Earlier, Chief Minister Abdul Quddus Bizenjo had sent advice to the governor for dissolving the Balochistan Assembly after the completion of its tenure.

Meanwhile, Chief Minister Abdul Quddus Bizenjo and the opposition leader are likely to meet to decide on the name for the appointment of the caretaker chief minister.

According to sources, the names of Hamal Kalmati, Usman Badeni, Shabbir Mengal and Naseer Bizenjo are being considered for the caretaker chief minister. The PPP has proposed Ali Hassan Zehri for the slot, while the BAP, the BNP and the JUI are vehemently supporting their proposed names.
