CM Punjab announces relief package for flood victims

LAHORE (92 News) - Chief Minister of Punjab Chaudhary Pervaiz Elahi announced relief package for flood victims.

As per details, Chief Minister Punjab Chaudhary Pervaiz Elahi chaired an important meeting in which the ongoing relief activities in flood affected areas in DG Khan, Rajanpur, Muzaffargarh and Mianwali were reviewed.

Chaudhary Pervaiz Elahi ordered to set up medical campuses in the flood-affected areas and rebuild damaged roads on an emergency basis. “I will not leave the flood-affected families alone. I will visit the flood-affected areas soon.

“An amount of Rs800,000 will be provided to families of people who died due to floods. A committee would estimate losses of houses, crops and livestock and distribute relief packages and dry rations among the deserving. Flood-affected people would also be vaccinated against viral diseases," he concluded.
