Chaudhary Pervaiz Elahi re-arrested after being discharged in corruption case

LAHORE (92 News) – Judicial Magistrate Ghulam Murtaza acquitted PTI president Chaudhary Pervaiz Elahi in the corruption case.

Announcing the reserved verdict on Friday, he said that no proof of corruption against Chaudhary Pervaiz Elahi was found. The court also discharged the Chaudhary Pervaiz Elahi in the case.

Soon after being discharged from the corruption case, the police re-arrested Chaudhary Pervaiz Elahi in another case registered in Gujranwala.
