RAWALPINDI (92 News) - Judicial Magistrate Qudratullah on Tuesday indicted the PTI founder and his wife in the 'Nikkah during Iddat' case in Adiala jail.

However, the PTI founder pleaded not guilty. The charges have been framed in the absence of Bushra Bibi. The court has summoned the witnesses in the case.

On November 25, Khawar Maneka, former husband of Bushra Bibi, had filed a complaint with the sessions court, contending that the PTI chairman had solemnized the nikkah with Bushra Bibi during 'Iddat'.

He appealed to court to convict the PTI chairman in the case. He also attached a list of four, including himself, Mufti Saeed, Aon Chaudhary and Muhammad Latif, witnesses to the complaint. Khawar Maneka also recorded his statement in the case.
