DG ISPR Maj Asif Ghafoor condemns murder of SP Tahir in Afghanistan
RAWALPINDI (92 News) – Inter-Service Public Relation (ISPR) Director General Maj Asif Ghafoor on Thursday condemned the murder of Missing Superintendent of Police (SP) Tahir Dawar in Afghanistan.
In his tweet, the ISPR director general said that brutal murder of SP Tahir in Afghanistan is highly condemnable. “We have lost a brave police officer. His abduction, move to Afghanistan, murder and follow up behaviour of the Afghanistan authorities raise questions which indicate involvement or resources more than a terrorist organisation in Afghanistan,” he added.
“While investigations by the Pakistani authorities are in process, we reiterate that Afgan security forces to cooperate in border fencing and bilateral border security coordination to deny use of Afghan territory against Pakistan,” Maj Asif Ghafoor said in his another tweet.Brutal murder of SP Tahir in Afg is highly condemnable.
