ECP allots SIC's reserved seats to other parties, PML-N gets 27 NA seats from Punjab

ISLAMABAD (92 News) - The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) on Tuesday allotted the reserved seats of the Sunni Ittehad Council (SIC) to other parties.

According to a notification of the ECP, the PML-N has been given 27 seats of the National Assembly from Punjab while the PPP got three seats.

In the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly, three minorities seats were allotted to the PPP, the PML-N and the JUI-F. However, the PPP got one seat reserved for women.

In the Sindh Assembly, the PPP's seats have risen to 117. The MQM also got one seat, increasing its number to 37. MQM's Fauzia Hameed was elected to the reserved seat.
