ECP orders to remove Ahad Cheema as SAPM, Damocles' sword hangs over Fawad Hassan Fawad
ISLAMABAD (92 News) - The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) on Tuesday ordered to remove Ahad Cheema from the post of Special Assistant to the Prime Minister (SAPM) on Establishment.
Azizuddin, the petitioner, had filed a petition seeking removal of partial ministers to ensure free and fair elections.
The ECP has also issued a notice to Caretaker Prime Minister Anwaarul Haq Kakar.
Meanwhile, the ECP will hear the case of Federal Minister Fawad Hassan Fawad on December 21.
On the other hand, Baitul Maal Managing Director Amir Fida Piracha tendered his resignation. He will contest the elections from the platform of the PPP.
