Five Chinese nationals among six killed in suicide attack on a van in Shangla

SHANGLA (92 News) – Six people, including five Chinese nationals, were killed in a suicide attack on a van in Besham area, Shangla on Tuesday.

The Malakand DIG said that the van was heading to Kohistan from Islamabad. He said that the attackers hit the explosive-laden vehicle against the van. The van fell into a ditch after being hit by the explosive-laden vehicle and caught fire afterwards. He said that the bodies and injured had been shifted to nearby hospital.

He said that all the deceased people were foreigners.

According to the preliminary report released by the Bomb Disposal Squad, about 7-8 explosive material was used in the suicide blast. The body parts of the suicide attacker have been found from the site. More evidence is being collected from the site.
